First things first, I laughed. HARD. Like, it's late, so I'm a bit delirious, but I was in hysterics for several minutes nonetheless.
And now onto the actual critique. Wow. It's amazing how expressive the troopers can be while being completely expressionless. It's all in composition, and you have certainly mastered that. The simplicity and color choice for the background is definitely a good contrast for the subject matter. And again, with the composition! I love it. One small tiny little-bitty idea: move the light source a bit to the left, so as to highlight "Cupid" a bit more. He's sneaking away, sure, but it almost draws too much away from his existence with the lighting as it is now. Maybe even angle the light source a bit, so you keep the lighting on the group around the slaughtered trooper, but can also bring attention back to the murderous Cupid.
I love his suit. Almost a bit James Bond. Very cute.
Overall, I think this piece was quite successful. Two thumbs up!!
